	Cornell Lab of Ornithology (April 6): Photos and video of the cooperative American Woodcock seen along the Wilson Trail. Also includes some discussion and a reference (PDF) regarding the unusual "rocking" or "pumping" behavior.
	Minnesota, 14-21 Dec: Photos of the 3rd state record of ROSS'S GULL. An adult basic bird from South St. Paul, MN.
8 December '07	From near Ithaca, 8 Dec: A female Short-eared Owl seen near Ithaca, NY. A pair of Common Redpolls seen at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology feeders. Some nice pictures of the "local" pale American Crow mentioned below.
17-18 November '07	From Cayuga Lake, 18 Nov: Hybrid Mallard x Black Ducks I'd like some feedback on, and a common loon. From Summerhill - 17 Nov 2007: Photos and (crummy) video of a flock of PINE GROSBEAKS, Some Evening Grosbeak photos from the Hovels' place, and two Rough-legged Hawks (1 light, 1 dark juv) from the end of Salt Rd.
	Nov 4, 2007: Cayuga Bird Clib trip birds       An abberant Canada Goose at MNWR,       male and female Evening Grosbeaks from the Hovels' near Summerhill,       and some Red Crossbills from Summerhill.

	April 20, 2007: As usual, there's more to come. Here are a few more for now...     A female Common merganser at Myers Point.     A Dunlin at Myers Point, including some video of the bird feeding.     A Northern Mockingbird at Myers.     A Wild Turkey including some video of a shaking behavior I've never seen before.     A LITTLE GULL seen in Stewart Park, 17 April 2007. Also some video of the bird in flight.     A Wilson's Snipe at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Also some video.     Lastly, a very cooperative Common Loon at Myers.
	A number of poor quality shots of the PACIFIC LOON seen near Sheldrake Point. A few nicer looking Red-necked Grebe photos. The drake EURASION x AMERICAN WIGEON seen up the lake on Friday, 23 March. Two drake Long-tailed Ducks seen just down the road from the above hybrid. A Northern Shrike seen later that same day near Dryden Lake. Some Canvasbacks from Cayuga Lake State Park. I've also put up a few photos that start to give one an idea of the number of waterfowl present at the north end of Cayuga Lake (and further North) during this time. First, a photo looking across the lake from Cayuga Lake State Park and another from the other side of the lake at Cayuga Lake State Park. Each of these show only a small percentage (<15%) of the ducks on the water at the time!!! Lastly, a small fraction of a flock of Snow Geese at the Mucklands (part of Montezuma NWR) north of the lake.

	Shots of a Glaucous Gull (2/1/07); a dark looking Herring Gull (2/3/07) in Stewart Park; a Lapland Longspur with a Snow Bunting and some Horned Larks near Ithaca 2/27/07; a Red-tailed Hawk on a duck carcass with a young Great Black-backed Gull trying to share the meal (scroll down); an adult and subadult Bald Eagle - the young bird is sporting some color bands; a female Merlin on Lansingville Rd. near Myers, NY - 2/27/07; 1 of 3 Short-eared Owls on Scofield Rd. x Buck Rd. north of Ithaca, NY on 2 March 2007; a domestic goose and two hybrids seen with other Canada Geese off of Ladoga Park Rd. near Myers, NY - 2/27/07; three different ICELAND GULLS from the Ithaca, NY area during February - early March 2007; and lastly a couple of photos of an odd looking 1st winter Herring (LBB?) 	An unusual looking juvenile Herring Gull seen around the Ithaca, NY area back in late August to early September of 2004. Note the extensive pale pink bill, which "should" be entirely black!
	Some photos of Glaucous Gulls; an odd Lesser Black-backed Gull; an Iceland Gull; Mallard - Black Duck hybrids; a Rough-legged Hawk; and an artsy Ring-billed Gull.
	A few pictures from a brief trip to El Salvador in the summer of 2006. Note that the butterfly and other non-bird photos are way better than the bird shots!
	Here are a few birds seen in early January 2007 near Pueblo, CO. They include an ICELAND GULL, a GLAUCOUS GULL, yet another Merlin photo, Mountain Bluebird, American Tree Sparrow, HARRIS'S SPARROW, Great Black-backed Gull plus a couple of "odd" gulls for folks to comment on, Horned Lark, yet another horrible photo of a Mew Gull, a nice shot of a Sharp-shinned Hawk, and a bonus non-bird photo of Rich Miller along the Canyon City Riverwalk during the very snowy Penrose CBC!!
	Here are some late December 2006 photos and a few Ithaca CBC photos from January 1, 2007. These include Northern Pintail, YELLOW WARBLER, Tundra Swans, and ROSS'S GOOSE. (Under Construction)

	Saturday, December 9th Birds - Ithaca Area: Hooded Mergansers, a European Starling, a male Wood Duck, a Mallard X Black Duck hybrid, a 1st winter Iceland Gull, an adult and 3rd winter Lesser Black-backed Gull, and an odd Herring-type Gull.

	From my early summer trip home to Colorado (late May, early June 2006). These include: Nice shots of a Vespers Sparrow, a winking Lark Sparrow, a Cassins's Sparrow, a few shots of some very cooperative Western Kingbirds, a nice shot of a Burrowing Owl, a male Bullock's Oriole some easy "quiz" photos (read as "poor quality") Clark's & Western Grebes, a fledgling American Robin, an Osprey nest and a Western Meadowlark.

	Adult and juvenile Caspian Terns from Myers Point - Aug 7, 2006. Adult and chick Sandhill Cranes from Carncross Rd., near Montezuma NWR. A male Dickcissel photographed and recorded on June 24, 2006 near the Fulton airport. And a male Bobolink from Mt. Pleasant Road, outside Ithaca, NY. 	Here are photos of the Merlins nesting near my apartment in Ithaca, NY - 2006. The page may take a minute or two to download, as it includes some photos of the nesting site, the nest, both adult birds, fledglings, and a photo of some cast pellets.
	A Pale Eurpoean Starling seen in Ithaca - May, 2006. Other birds seen that day were my lifer Cerulean Warbler, lifer Snowy Owl, Brown-headed Cowbirds, and an Eastern Bluebird.
	A few spring birds seen 14 May, 2006 near West Danby, NY. I put up some photos of... Praire Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Blue-winged Warbler, Field Sparrow, Song Sparrow, Indigo Bunting, Hermit Thrush, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Solitary Sandpiper, and Red-spotted Newt.
	A early April bird seen while I was trying to photo a Bohemian Waxwing on campus.
	Photos of a migrant Yellow-bellied Sapsucker that stopped over in my yard at the start of April, 2006. Photos include some fresh wells (including close ups) and ants feeding(?) on the flowing sap.

	Mallard X Black Duck Hybrid seen on Cayuga Lake near "Hog's Hole". Ithaca, NY - 12/15/05.
	These photos are of the much-photographed-and-video-taped Black-tailed Gull that was found in Vermont during late October, 2005.
	While the photos are horrible, here's what I have on the Black Guillemot that showed up on Cayuga Lake in late October, 2004. The McGowans managed to get much beter pictures of the bird than these!
