Burrowing Owl
Here is a Burrowing Owl seen (and recorded) near Huerfano Res. in south eastern Pueblo Co., CO. June 2006.




These first two photos are of a Burrowing Owl seen near the Pueblo Reservoir on Red Creek Rd., on December 31, 2005. This may represent one of the first winter records for this species in Pueblo County. (Click photos to enlarge).
