European Starling
Here is a winter Eurpean Starling seen near Ithaca, NY on 9 Dec 2006.
Here are 3 individuals seen on Tuesday, 16 May 2006, near the Golf Course
Woods / Jetty Woods in Ithaca, NY. Compare the first 2 normal colored
individuals to the very pale (hypomelanistic?) individual in the 3rd and
4th pictures. The last bird is apparently nesting somewhere near the
spring 2006 "Cerulean Warbler spot".
