Lesser Yellowlegs

This one-legged bird was photographed while I was looking to take photos of a Stilt Sandpiper. This fall,
large algae mats gave sufficient habitat to attract 15+ species of shorebirds during August and September.

Here's a short video clip of this bird hobbling around. While the bird seemed to feed normally,
I (and others) suspect its inefficiency in getting around will probably make life tough for this bird.
In this video the bird in the background is a Stilt Sandpiper.
